Back To “Online” School – Kicking Off Module 4
It is back to school all over the world, albeit the circumstances, and here it is no exception. The fourth module of the MA started last Friday and looks like we are off to a good start. In this module we would be delving into what it takes to start a self-initiated project as well as working as part of a collaboration. This includes idea generation for projects, identifying target markets and creating a project brief from scratch for oneself and for stakeholders. We are still in the very beginning of this module, but so far, from the description it looks quite interesting. Might be a bit of a steep learning curve, for I have never worked fully on a passion project of my own (had small ones, but nothing major that was launched for the public), but I know that it will benefit me.
This first brief of the module is called ‘Self-Initiated’ where will be exploring projects from previous modules and expand further on them and find what really challenges our interests in the process. By revisiting our own work, we can also see were we excelled creatively, what interested us the most and also lay our framework for a more elaborate project. Right now, I have just finished going through the lecture content for this first week. I will be writing about it in the upcoming post.
In all honesty, I have some mixed feelings about the upcoming module. Feels like uncharted territory for me, but if I put my head there, I will make it. Onto the next three-month journey I guess… See you again soon!
